Hey lovely people!
Anyone else considered January the trial month for the new year?
I sure did! That’s why I am just now really starting to find my groove and work to get everything organized around me.
I started my new year off setting goals for just the first quarter. Well, now that we are four days into the second month, it’s safe to say that I might be a bit behind. So now I have to get going full steam ahead but NOT without these planners in tow!
In today’s post, I share four planners with you that I HIGHLY recommend should you be in the market for a new one. Two of them are tried and true for me since I have used them well over a year now and two are brand new for 2021. Make sure you keep reading because I am tossing in three honorable mentions and a coupon code!
The biggest lie I tell myself is that I will remember something so there is no need to write it down. Can anyone relate? Since my goal is to write everything down, I am excited about the various functions each of these planners provide.

My Tried and True Planners
The Passion Planner: This one is neat because it allows me structure my time during the day. I block out meetings, class time, research blocks first, gym classes, etc. Check it out, they also have an option to download a free PDF version in case you want to sample it first!
The Panda Planner: Like the passion planner, my favorite planners are those that come undated. Let’s be honest, some days and weeks I am in a better planning mood than others. These help me feel like I can get great use out of them because of this flexibility. The Panda Planner’s weekly/daily pages allow me to map out gratitude, exercise, priorities, the daily schedule, etc. I feel really centered using this one.
New Planners for 2021
The Content Planner: I will never forget the hype around the content planner last year. I felt a bit of FOMO only to realize they were sold out. I was elated to get my hands on one this year. I want to elevate my content and consistency on my social media platforms. Be sure you grab yours since they are back on sale and get on the email list so you are a part of the pre-sale for 2022 at the end of the year too! Oh, and good luck picking your color; you will want them all!
Shop Lovet Agency YouTube Planner: YouTube is hard y’all. It has been my goal to release one new video each week but I have lacked a system for planning out this specific content. This planner sure to help focus on creation and marketing of my new videos. A bonus is that is coiled and the perfect size. This company offers a few types of planners so be sure to check them out and grab the one you desire. Shop using this link and save 15%:
Honorable Mentions
Alter Planning Co: I first learned about Alter because it was a gift for me to use in 2020. First, it is Black woman owned so yes, grab one. Secondly, it has loads of features including project management pages, budget pages, and routines and habits pages all alongside your traditional monthly and weekly spreads.
The Happy Planner: First, the happy planners are CUTE! They also come with nice extension packs such as the fitness or budgeting packs to help you get organized. I love the disc approach to this binder because it increases flexibility for you based on your planning needs.
The Wake Up & Work Pad: This one is not technically a planner as much as it is a “daily pad” but it has become a daily staple for me. I do jot notes via sticky as I end each work day and then in the mornings I add them to this formal pad to get the day started. It’s also owned by a Black woman so you know what to do.
So you tell me, what planners are you loving right now? Do share below!
